Bhimsinh Solanki is a seasoned retail entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in fuel and convenience retail. Before moving to Canada in 2019, he successfully operated four Shell gas stations in India, managing over 150 employees. Today, he owns and operates two Shell gas stations in Saanichton, along with a restaurant and a grocery store in mainland Canada.

Driven by a passion for innovation, he started his first gas station in 2006 and has since earned multiple accolades, including "Retailer of the Year" for his territory nine times and the national "Retailer of the Year" award for India. He is also a dedicated mentor, helping several employees launch their own successful businesses.

Beyond business, he actively supports his community by sponsoring local events, assisting new immigrants, and creating opportunities for students. For him, business is not just about transactions—it’s about building relationships and making a meaningful impact.

Upon moving to Thunder Bay in 1972, Vasantbhai spent approximately 30 years and established himself as a Leader in the Thunder Bay Community through various roles. Vasantbhai was a trusted advisor in the Indian Community and made a positive impact on the increased awareness of Multiculturalism in the community.

Upon moving to Vancouver in 2001, Vasantbhai quickly got involved and was seen as a real leader and trusted advisor within the community quickly by providing his expertise from his past leadership experiences and community development roles.

The list of his contributions to the community is endless and the recognisations and honours he has got are countless. We are proud to have him as our Patron.

A Professional Engineer (EGBC) and Senior IEEE Member, he has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at UBC, BCIT, and UFV, co-authored IEEE papers, and presented at major industry conferences. As Division Manager at BC Hydro, he leads real-time operations with a team of 120 employees.
Beyond his profession, Nimesh is a Cricket Canada Level III & ICC Level I Umpire, a two-time GSBC Volleyball Tournament-winning captain, and a passionate musician.
As the lead singer of Sur Sagar Group for over a decade, he has performed at countless community events and dedicated his voice to bhajans, bringing solace to grieving families.

Cytotechnologist by profession, working for bc cancer agency, Vibhooti Vaishnav is an active member of Gujarati Society of British Columbia for past thirty years. She has been volunteering as  RJ for Gujarati program on redfm for many years.
She is a long standing member of the local band Sur Saagar performing at navaratri, weddings, bhajans for various occasions.
A professional emcee at various cultural shows, she is passionate about writing poems in Gujarati and Hindi and occasionally you can read her articles in the Asian star newspaper.

Founder of the nonprofit society 'Miracles of Karma', Pooja has been a beacon of hope, tirelessly serving the homeless and supporting international students in Vancouver. Her unwavering dedication to community welfare, from organizing meals for those in need to guiding newcomers, reflects her deep-rooted commitment to humanitarian service. A social worker, leader, and change maker, Pooja’s impact is profound and far-reaching.
